Weddings in Sorrento

View of Sorrento, Italy

There can be few places in the world quite as romantic as Sorrento for weddings. With amazing views of the bay and the sparkling Mediterranean beyond from it’s hillside setting, the fragrance of the citrus trees to enjoy and the utterly awe-inspiring sunsets, love will definitely be in the air!

Sorrento is one of Italy’s most popular destinations for couples that wish to get married abroad, and it’s easy to see why. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere combined with the stunning setting has provided inspiration to many artists and writers over the centuries, not to mention many happy couples!

How to Find Us

We know you’ll have lots to take care of when it comes to planning your trip, so we wanted to make it a bit easier for you by providing details about how to reach the luxury Villa Romita Hotel Sorrento. Below you will find a map showing exactly where our location is, along with directions on how to find us. We look forward to seeing you!

How To Get Here

The Circumvesuviana Train Service to Sorrento is your best bet if you’re travelling from the direction of Naples. Sorrento is the last station on the line so you can’t miss your stop! This journey is well worth taking, if only for the fact that you will pass Mount Vesuvius and see this world famous sight first hand from the comfort of the train. The fares are pretty cheap too.

When you get off the train in Sorrento, make your way to the buses outside the station. There are lots of services to choose from which go to Salerno – you want one that stops in Sant’Agata so be sure to check with the driver. When you get off the bus it’s only a few steps up the hill to the Grand Hotel Hermitage with whom we share a reception. It’s as easy as that!

There is an alternative route where you would take the train to Salerno instead of Sorrento and travel the coast by bus from the other direction. It will take a little longer and you won’t pass the Volcano, but it is another option if Salerno is on your itinerary too.
